Hi, I have a Honda CRV 2007 which needs a forced regeneration of the dpf. I bought the Autel Maxicheck dpf for this job, but I still haven't it work in a proper way. I got a tip that it probably was under the menu "DPF differential sensor relearning", but nothing happened. I have tried it a several times. How do I start the forced regeneration process?

dpf sensor learning function is just for the sensors. usually dpf regeneration happens when the vehicle is hot and the vehicle has been travelling above 50mph for more than 30min, you may find a motorwa drive will sort it but check for water contamination in the sensor. have you checked the pressure before the dpf to confirm the fault, just asking.

Hi again, no I haven't. But still I thought that the MaxiCheck DPF had a menupoint from where you could start a forced regeneration of the DPF.

the maxi check for dpf system is just one big disappointement for us all i guess, aand you think that by having those complain and so on they would update the software from time to time, been quite a while since i bought the maxi, and i would certainly not recommend it to anyone, just a waste of money

Yea, it is disappointing. There is still no solution. Doubt I ever buy anything from Autel.

I would never buy a tool which will only do one function which is (DPF) you should buy a tool which will do multiple tasks............

    1) To get Honda CR-V in Force Regen Mode you will have to get the engine at the normal temperature also A/C should be ON that's when you will be able to perform the force regen...................

I think the maxisys mini is a good choice for doing DPF to most car models ...
